Your subscription drives what is exposed in the top navigation menu. It displays only menu items applicable to entitled (subscribed) services. For most services, the left-hand navigation ties to the top navigation, e.g. if a user has access to the top navigation, the associated left-hand navigation is also displayed. 

Note that there may be instances where a left-hand navigation item requires additional entitlements.
