Platts APIs are categorized into three types: 

Gamma – These are production grade APIs for critical content. 

Beta – A satisfactory standard of development which continues to evolve as per client feedback. There is an implied agreement that feedback will be considered and eventually incorporated. 

Alpha – Level 1 of development, primarily designed to receive feedback in order of progress to Beta/Gamma (GA) levels.
